Service Description

The SHEA Power course is awarded by the Energy & Utility Skills Register (EUSR) and provides the SHEA Power Passport Card on completion. This card is recognised across the power sector and is used by operatives, supervisors, and managers to gain access to operational sites. The course is fully CSCS-accredited and includes the CSCS hologram, making it suitable for those working on or near live electricity environments, such as substations. It includes all the content from the EUSR SHEA Core qualification, along with two additional modules specific to the power industry. The course builds awareness of how electricity is generated, transmitted, and distributed across the network, including through substations, overhead lines, and underground cables.
